Why Effective Weight Loss Is More Than Just About Food

Make sure you get enough sleep

Researchers point out that you can compromise your weight loss efforts if you do not get enough sleep each night. The main problem with getting too little sleep is that your metabolism is trying to compensate for the lack of energy by slowing down, which means that your body will turn the food you eat into energy at a slower pace. Studies carried on small groups have showed that people that sleep less than necessary are likely to eat more and turn fewer calories into energy when performing the same activities. So, for effective weight loss, you need to get enough sleep.

Eat more varied foods

Another secret for losing weight efficiently is to eat more varied food. If you eat the same food every day and at every meal, you will not only grow bored with it, you will also feel tempted to eat more to compensate for the hunger you will feel. It seems that humans and animals alike are inclined to eat less, quantity wise, if they are offered a higher diversity of foods to eat. So, instead of loading your plate with a single type of food, add various foods to the same plate, and you will see how easy it will become for you to lose weight, while eating less.

Effective weight loss is about attitude

Having the proper mindset when starting a diet or making a promise to live healthier and lose weight, is very important. If you dismiss what you think about food and eliminate it from the equation, do not be surprised when you will notice that things do not work like this. What you need is a positive attitude, you will have to change the way you think about food, and to focus on healthy choices. In time, your mindset will become an ally in the fight against extra pounds, and you will find it much easier to lose weight.

The best zero calorie drink: water

Drinking water is important when you want to lose weight. One great quality of plain water is that it helps the body flush out toxins and especially sodium, which is the main culprit when you feel bloated for no apparent reason. Fizzy drinks should be out of the question when you consider effective weight loss, but water should always be plentiful and readily available.
Worry less

Last, but not least, effective weight loss strategies must also include less stress. When you are stressed out, you tend to eat more than usual to compensate for how you feel. Instead of feeding the blues with unhealthy foods, consider starting again on the right food with a healthier lifestyle.

When it comes to losing weight, no two people are alike, it's all about what works for you but if you put the tips from this article in practice you will achieve noteworthy results.

How To Achieve Weight Loss Success

Fad diets don't work and just don't do the trick. The key to successful weight loss is no diet plan at all. You can achieve your very own weight loss success story by following a few healthy eating and exercise tips that you can be easily maintained for life.

The first step to super fast weight loss is finding and adhering to a manageable healthy eating plan. Women often make the mistake of following an unrealistic dietary plan instead of following a healthy way of eating that will not only help them satisfy their hunger pangs, but also help them reach their optimum health. Weight loss and maintaining an optimum weight only comes once a healthy way of eating is in place.

For starters, try incorporating high fiber foods like whole grains and oats into your eating plan. Avoid the high processed whole grains that typically appear in cereals and you will feel fuller longer and less likely to experience hunger pangs. Fruits and vegetables are healthy add-ons and many varieties have high fiber content as well. Fiber also helps regulate the digestive system and has been a key factor in many weight loss success stories women.

Take small steps initially to help reduce the stress of your healthy eating transition. Eat the foods you enjoy, but do so in moderation. For example, if you have a three soda a day habit, start by replacing two of those sodas with water or tea. Water and tea are healthier options and mix-ins can be added to either option for a boost of flavor that is still better for you than unhealthy carbonated, sugar laden soft drinks. Can't go without your daily egg and cheese omelet? Make it a healthier option by experimenting with the addition of peppers, sauteed broccoli or other vegetables to get a serving of fresh vegetables in at the start of your day. Substitute lean sources of protein like fish and chicken in place of fatty meats and you will be well on the way to a weight loss success story of your own.

An extreme exercise regimen is not needed to see weight loss results. Like with the eating plan, start slow and simply walk and move as much as you can. Try parking your car a little bit further and take the few extra steps to the door. Take the stairs instead of the elevator and incorporate light weight training whenever you feel comfortable.

When choosing a proper weight loss diet plan you need to do a lot of research, talk to a lot of people and read successful weight loss stories or testimonials. I can point you to the right direction and introduce you to a woman with a successful weight loss story that is now a certified nutritionist and fitness expert, she has helped over 30,000 people to lose weight and you can get to read her true story, she is Isabel De Los Rios and you can watch her video here: http://bestfoodsforweightloss.co/

Diet-Related Diseases Which Can Affect Your Health

Many of us are thinking about living a healthier lifestyle by beginning a weight loss plan. And most of us probably already know that there are many good reasons to do so. But choosing the best diets for our eating habits, lifestyle and goals is just the first step in a long journey back to better health.

The truth is that many of us will fail before hardly just beginning on our diets. And that can be because of many things. Perhaps there was too much change going on at once, which can make things seem very overwhelming, and make our old eating habits look a lot easier than sticking with something new.

But when considering whether or not to drop a diet, we should also consider what we risk by doing so. Continuing with old habits may seem like less work, but in the long run, it can serve to shorten our lives. There are a host of diet-related diseases that can be avoided when we decide to make a change for the better.

Older Means Riskier

The older we get, the more likely we are to develop certain diseases related to diet. Some of the more common are high blood pressure, diabetes and osteoporosis. High blood pressure can be the main cause of many other types of medical traumas, such as stroke and kidney failure. And so by watching the amount of sodium we consume, we can cut our risk of creating the perfect conditions for these 'offshoot' traumas to occur. Increasing our intake of calcium and losing weight are two other ways that high blood pressure can be avoided.

Diabetes has become a mainstay in our modern lifestyles where automation, which decreases our activity levels, meets a less healthful food supply. Over time, as the body is inundated with high amounts of processed carbohydrates, it becomes less able to handle this unnatural state. Eventually high sugar levels cause harm to the pancreas, which must deal with these sugars by storing them as fat.

Osteoporosis is what happens when the body's bones become brittle and prone to fracture. This loss of calcium can occur as the result of many causes. This disease affects both men and women, although gradual calcium loss occurs earlier for women than for men, accelerating after a woman begins menopause. An increase in calcium intake as well as exercise can help prevent bone loss. The one thing to understand about osteoporosis avoidance is that no amount of calcium intake will replace that already lost, making prevention the best and most important thing to do.

Unhealthy Diet Factors

Our modern diet is full of disease-causing elements. We may think that our busy lives demand food that has been preserved, pre-packaged or made in minutes. But it's this very perception that needs to change in order for a diet or exercise plan to be maintained over the long-term. There are many alternatives to the processed meat, preservatives and sugars we consume. One needs only conduct a little research online to discover the many options which are available

Of course, there are many other diet-related diseases which plague millions of American citizens. And many of these are a part of a cycle of stress and unhappiness as well. And so taking a look at our overall lives and seeing where positive changes can be made can contribute greatly to the success we achieve in our diet and weight loss plans.

Figuring out which plans are the best diets for you can be a challenge if you don't know where to begin or aren't mentally prepared to start a new plan. But The Diet Mindset can give you the insight you need to begin your journey to a healthier you.

The Best Supplements For Women to Get Lean

Have you ever heard of the saying that we are what we eat? Every single day we feed our bodies with different kinds of foods with one main purpose, to avoid being hungry. There are situations whereby our bodies develop cravings for some foods and sadly, these foods end up having a huge amount of fat content in them. Firstly, it appears to be a mere innocent liking for the food but as time goes by it becomes a habit and finally we can't live without it. Gradually, your best outfits no longer fit and that's when you realize you have added some weight. To women the thought of having gained a few pounds is a nightmare and all kinds of strategies are put to ensure that with limited time, you get back your lean beautiful body.

However, the thought of going through the whole weight losing process can be discouraging if not maddening. When one talks of losing weight, the first thought that fills your mind is jogging, press-ups, dieting and all the body activity that includes sweat and weariness, but thank God for technology because these days massive amounts of fat can be lost from one's body by the use of diet pills. A very good example of a diet pill is the Phen 375. This diet pill is highly effective because it is known to have the phentermine ingredient which acts as a powerful appetite suppressant. In addition to that, it stimulates or increases the body's metabolism rate such that fats that have accumulated and deposited at different parts of the body are burned within a short period of time.

Phen 375 is essential for persons who need to lose a lot of weight because of their health status such as the obese. People who suffer from obesity need to lose a lot weight that is, drastic weight loss measures because their lives are endangered and this is where diet pills such as phen 375 come in handy. Another advantage is that Phen 375 is much cheaper as compared to surgery such as liposuction.

With surgery, only specific amounts of fat is lost but with this diet pill every minute that passes calories are being burned in huge amounts and most interestingly is that one can lose weight even while sleeping. In connection to this, since fat can be burned at a sterile state such as sleep, it reduces physical fatigue that one could have experienced had he opted for physical exercise as a mode of weight loss.

Phen 375 also has the ability to not only suppress one's appetite as I had earlier stated but it largely reduces a person's urge for food. If one had cravings for fatty foods, automatically these cravings are no longer experienced and therefore one has a chance to opt for vegetables as supplement. Lastly, this pill is known to have no side effects and if there are any cases reported they are very rare. It ensures proportional weight loss such that your body doesn't look flabby in any way; this is an insight.

The Relationship of Diet to Memory

has been debated much over the decades. And as technology evolves, we are realizing more than ever before about how what we eat affects our bodies. The loss of memory often associated with older ages is something that most societies of the world can say they have in common. But what is being discovered is that much of what we eat can be a contributor to memory loss later on in life.

A 2008 study conducted by researchers from the Medical University of South Carolina revealed that citizens living in advanced industrialized nations suffered the most from memory loss. Interestingly, it was revealed that these nations were those having diets which were the highest in saturated fat and cholesterol. Studies in two universities revealed that memory impairment was the result from a diet high in these two ingredients.

Should the same thing happen in humans, it may be suggested, according to the study that the reduction of cholesterol and saturated fat in the diet may help to improve brain function and preserve memory.

The Role of Super Foods

It's been found that a number of foods can be helpful in the slowing down of cognitive decline that is related to age. One of these many foods are berries. And incorporating them into your daily diet is easier than you may think.

The same is true for those vegetables having dark green leafy properties. Vegetables of this type include spinach and romaine lettuce, and all it takes is to make a salad with your nightly meal. In fact, a salad can be incorporated with any meal, and even as a healthy snack when you add berries and nuts to it. Even just one cup of spinach can provide you with fifteen percent of your daily vitamin E requirement.

Essential fatty acids, such as those found in fish such as salmon have many properties which benefit the brain. They are classified as 'essential' because they can only be obtained by eating fish which contain them or by taking supplements.

Memory-Reducing Foods to Avoid

Soda is actually something that many experts say we should avoid entirely. This is because of the amounts of glucose it contains. In order to function properly, our brains need glucose, but in a steady stream. The amount of glucose delivered in one sitting can be overwhelming for both the brain and the body to process at one time.

As mentioned previously, fast foods are high in both cholesterol and saturated fat, which mean they can threaten our memory later on in life. This occurs because the high fat content in fast foods causes carotid artery disease, which is a narrowing of arteries in the neck. This can lead to less oxygen reaching the brain, which will eventually impair memory function.

An Unusual Food Which Aids Memory

Many studies have shown that the simple act of chewing gum can help with both short and long-term memory, whether the gum contains sugar or not. This has led some researchers to believe that it's the increase in heart rate that accompanies gum-chewing which, in turn, increases blood flow to the brain.

Believe it or not, the best diets for women are not necessarily the best diets for men, or vice-versa. But having a useful online resource can help anyone wishing to lose weight to be successful.

Biggest Motivation Killer

Before you reach for Psychology 101, let me just clarify: 'outcome anxiety' is not an official diagnosis. It's a name I've given to a phenomenon I have repeatedly observed in my own clients on their healthy nutrition journey.

Outcome anxiety is a trick the mind plays on the most determined dieter: the goal itself becomes the undoing of the whole endeavour.

And the bigger the ambition, the more acutely 'outcome anxiety' seems to hit.

For example...

Imagine your goal is to lose 3 stone and you're just 3 weeks into a healthy eating programme. Looking at this goal, and all the habits you're going to be changing, the decisions you're going to have to make, the temptations you're going to have to resist, it can seem like an endless journey to get there.

In reality, what you really would like, is to lose 3 stone RIGHT NOW, and be able to fit into those skinny jeans THIS Saturday. Wouldn't it be great to eliminate the uncertainty that lies ahead - the fear of losing your motivation somewhere along the way?

So basically what's happening is...

The fear of losing your motivation, the fear of failing is what causes you to lose your motivation and to fail. Twisted, huh?

It's also the mindset which diet pills and 'fast weight loss' plans have been cashing in on for so many years.

Sound familiar?

If it helps, you are certainly not the first to feel like this, and most probably won't be the last. Throughout history, famous thinkers have provided the same advice, from Chinese philosopher Lao Tsu ("Every journey, no matter how long begins with one step.") to Martin Luther King Jr ("You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step."). Whether you are looking to lose weight or inspire nations, wanting the end result RIGHT NOW is definitely a recipe for failure.

One step at a time

Half the battle is just to recognise what's happening. Awareness removes the power from the fear! And then simply to take it one step at a time.

Just like one of my clients recently. One day, a few weeks into his nutrition weight loss programme, he came to me and said: "You know I think I've cracked it, I'm focusing on the process, not the outcome and actually I'm enjoying it all a lot more!" As soon as he started doing this, his results began to improve dramatically.

So why not try this for yourself? Enjoy the process, and remember: your ultimate goal should inspire you, never crush you!

Meal Timing May Affect Weight Loss, Study Says

A new study conducted in Spain and published in the International Journal of Obesity suggests there is a correlation between when you eat and how successfully you lose weight. As it turns out, meal timing is almost as important as what's for dinner.

Background Information

There are a few relevant bits of information that research has already told us about meal timing and its effect on weight loss.

First, eating a meal soon after waking up helps to jump start your metabolism. By skipping breakfast, your metabolism is forced to start conserving calories instead of burning them.

Spreading your calories out throughout the day also increases your metabolic rate because you're forcing your metabolism to stay active. We know, for example, that eating 2, 300 calorie meals a few hours apart is far better than eating 1, 600 calorie meal in the same amount of time even if you end up eating the exact same things.

The Study

Marta Garaulet and Dr. Frank Scheer, who is the director of the medical chronobiolosy program at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, recorded the progress of two separate groups participating in a 20-week weight loss regiment. The first group, dubbed the "early eaters," ate lunch before 3 p.m. while the second group, dubbed the "late eaters," ate lunch after 3 p.m. (In Spain, it is common for lunch to be the largest meal of the day, comprising approximately 40% of their daily caloric intake.)

The Results

The researchers found that the first group, the "early eaters," lost 25% more weight than their counterparts in the "late eaters" group. The researchers did not notice a difference in weight loss based on when participants ate breakfast and dinner.

Controls

Garaluet and Dr. Scheer controlled for other factors that lead to weight loss like energy expenditure (exercise levels), what the participants ate, appetite hormones, and sleep patterns so there was no significant difference between the two groups.

Limitations

The nature of this study was observational, meaning it cannot imply causation, it can only show a correlation. To imply causation, the researchers would have to randomly assign participants to two or more groups and then change the independent variable accordingly.

Takeaway

The study mentioned several possible explanations for these results. First, you have a biological "clock" that regulates your internal organs. If you're eating a large meal later in the day when your metabolism is getting ready to slow down, those extra calories may stay with you longer than you'd like. Another possible explanation cited is that for whatever reason, participants in the "late eaters" group had a smaller breakfast or no breakfast more often than the "early eaters." The authors suggested that some people may be more genetically wired to eat later in the day, which could disrupt their internal timing.

The most important thing for you to do is to eat a large breakfast. You'll ultimately consume fewer calories throughout the day and your metabolism will work hard all day long to burn those calories.

If possible, avoid eating a large dinner, especially if you go to bed soon afterwards. Instead, try shifting your calories towards earlier meal times. For example, eat 100 extra calories for breakfast, lunch, and have a larger mid-afternoon snack than usual. Also, load up on fruits, vegetables, and lean meats at dinner. They're filling, easy for your metabolism to handle, and low-calorie options.

Eating at the right time is easy with this meal plan. You'll learn when to snack and how large your meals should be to keep your metabolism running strong all day long!

Fat Loss Tips: Follow These Ideas for Success

ByBrian C Grant

Many individuals embark on a diet at some point in their life. While we are unable to accurately display a percentage of failed diets we can say that most efforts result in short-term weight loss due to calorie reduction and unfortunately lead to further weight gain. Just in case your diet has failed or is on the verge of failure read our tips for the best fat loss...

1. Between 5-15 minutes before a meal, drink an 8 oz. glass of water or another healthy choice beverage to fill your stomach up so you don't eat as much food.

2. Choose breads and other carbohydrates that are whole grains such as spelt, buckwheat and barley.

3. Replace all soft drinks and other sugary juices with water. If you need flavor in your water use a lime or lemon wedge mixed in your water.

4. Always eat breakfast. A balanced breakfast will include a protein (steak, chicken, fish or eggs); Fruit and some oatmeal to kick start your metabolism. A balanced breakfast will allow you to stabilize blood sugar and prevent over indulging later in the day.

5. Have an oral fixation that you normally correct with food? Try chewing flavored gum between meals. Most gum can be found in a variety of desert flavors and can have less than 10 calories per stick. Don't overdo it with the gum and be careful of your dental health.

6. Cheat Days are acceptable. Allow your body to give into a craving once a week for one meal. Just don't overdo it.

7. Replace your regular snack foods with raw almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds that are high in protein and essential fats. Just be conservative as calories can add up fast.

8. Try to avoid milk as it is filled with unhealthy hormones. Leafy greens are rich in calcium and can replace the calcium lost from the reduction of milk.

9. Cook more often at home. This will allow you to know exactly what is in your food and help you reach your goals.

10. Avoid all fried foods. If you are craving fried foods cook them at home using coconut oil.

11. Try to avoid processed food. Processed foods have chemicals and additives that are unhealthy and contain a mass amount of calories.

12. Remember to keep working. All types of activities burn calories. Move around as much as possible. Park further in the lot when going to the store, take the stairs instead of an elevator and experiment in new types of physical fitness. If you have kids create activities that get you all outside to PLAY and just do what you enjoy!

13. Don't judge weight loss by the scale alone. Find ways to judge your progress and don't get discouraged if the scale fluctuates. Take before and after pictures of your progress and judge your goals by the way your clothes fit.

Desire, Dedication and Determination will be required to reach your goals. Diets are not a quick fix they are a life style change that must include physical activity.

Losing Weight - What Is Stopping You?

Everyone knows that losing weight is as simple as less calories in, more calories out. So why is it so difficult for most of us to achieve and maintain our ideal weight? Below is a discussion of some of the reasons.

"I Don't Have Any Willpower" - Yes, breaking habits does require commitment. Honestly though, do you have any more or less will power than the next person? Highly unlikely. It is a matter of making your weight, and health, your priority. Choosing to lose weight, no matter what, in a manner that works for you, and your lifestyle. Most importantly, one that you can sustain for life. At the end of the day- who controls your mind?

"I Just Love Food" - Well yes! Most people love food. If we didn't the human race would be extinct by now. There is nothing wrong with enjoying food. We simply need to learn to enjoy our food in small portions if we want to lose weight. As the French do.

Getting Older - Yes we are all ageing. Yes, the body does physiologically slow down. Hormone levels decrease or become imbalanced. The liver becomes sluggish and therefore less able to produce the bile to break down fats properly, to metabolise cholesterol and remove hormones and waste products from the blood. Blood pressure naturally increases. Getting old or older doesn't mean we should give up though. It just means we need to work harder to stay healthy!

Self destructive tendencies - Do you really want to look good by losing weight?

Unfortunately for many people, sexual abuse as a child has made them feel the need to develop an extra layer to protect themselves from attention and from further possible abuse. This subconscious need to protect themselves may override all logical thought. There can be other reasons why this self destructive tendency to punish oneself through food, usually links back to some form of abuse.

To ever achieve a healthy body and to lose weight this psychological issue needs to be identified and dealt with. Not an easy task for some, certainly, but until it has been dealt with, one can never let go of the excess baggage i.e. weight. Professional help and diet advice may be needed to overcome such an important obstacle.

I Don't Have Time - Yes we have said or heard all the excuses...

I am too busy.I travel a lot for work.I am a single mum/dad.I run my own business.I am a working mum/dad.I have a family.I take care of my ageing parents.

... Sorry but there is no way around this one. These are all nothing but excuses! It doesn't take any extra time to eat less.

The Lure Of Advertising - It's true, advertising is an incredibly powerful tool for companies. Although these days, consumers are becoming more and more savvy, advertising still penetrates our psyche, if by no other means, through pure repetition.

It is amazing how many people obtain their nutritional information from advertising. As if advertisers have our best interests at heart. They have the bottom line in their sights and will twist and turn the truth to sell us their product. It is imperative that we don't believe everything we hear and see if we're serious about losing weight.

Marketing is much more insidious than advertising. It consists of things like the upsell. Finding a way to make you spend a little more by ordering the next size up. This concept was well documented in 'Supersize Me'. The documentary highlighting how much weight you would gain by eating a larger size of food at McDonalds every time it is offered to you.

Another surreptitious and little known marketing ploy is the deployment of lobbyists. The Boards of special interest groups such as beef, dairy, chicken, grains, vegetables, fruits etc, all spend huge sums of money on cunning and powerful lobbyists to obtain acceptance and support for their product. They are all vying for the highest point on the food pyramid for example. These lobbyists are only interested in finding ways in increasing consumption of their product. They don't care what the ramifications are on our health or waistline.

As with the topic before, advertising, it is imperative to keep alert and make up our own minds as to what and how much we consume!

Peer Group Pressure - This is a strange one. Family and friends, or those whom we think are our friends, one would think, would be supportive. In actuality, family and friends may have many different motives for not wanting us to lose weight. They may like us to stay at our current weight to be the same as them, or because they want to look better than us, or they become envious that we are able to exercise some control over our lives.

The reaction may come in many forms. Sarcasm, ridicule, put downs, silent treatment, you name it, I have seen it all. The main thing is to be strong and know that we are doing what is right for us.

Fear Of Not Having Enough - This fear is quite common in people that have been through the war, famine or times of great hardship. For most younger generations brought up in the western world this would not apply. This is really for people that have been in a situation where they didn't know if, and when, there would be something to eat. This incredibly stressful experience can weigh on the psyche for life. This issue must be dealt with, perhaps through the help of a trained psychologist, to be able to move on and let go of the food addiction and extra weight.

Starving Kids In Africa - We have all heard this one. This is the 'Butterfly Effect'. If a butterfly flaps its wings in Jamaica, it can spark off a cyclone in Australia 2 weeks later. Or so the hypothesis goes.

Whilst it is true, that everything we do, will have a knock on effect to those around us, and further still, eating more food than our body needs is not going to help the starving kids in Africa or anywhere else for that matter. It just stops us from losing weight effectively.

Nurture Vs Nature - This is becoming more prevalent nowadays with more and more children being exposed to over-consumption. Whilst one could say that due to genetics, some people have a natural propensity towards being heavy. It is unfortunate that many children are being raised to consume way too many calories. The reasons are numerous. Food is used as a bribe for many working mothers who feel guilty about being away from their kids.

It used to be, that perhaps only one child was over-weight in a family, it is now quite common to see whole families grossly over-weight. This is unfair to the children but also extremely difficult to deal with as some parents are simply passing on their own poor eating habits.

Re-training one's eating habits, after being brought up with over-consumption as a way of life, has got to be one of the most arduous tasks to undergo. It can be done, but professional help may be needed in the process of losing weight.

Self-Actualisation - Is a concept invented by Abraham Maslow. This is a pyramid of needs. Starting with physiological at the bottom to self- actualisation at the top.

In order the levels are; Physiological; Safety; Love/Belonging; Esteem; Self-Actualisation.

When each level is fulfilled a person can, theoretically, advance to the next level, with becoming a self-actualised person being the goal. Maslow studied very healthy and happy individuals to come up with his Hierarchy of Needs.

Self-Actualisation is not actually another reason why we are not losing weight. It is actually this author's argument to lose weight. That even though you may have everything else in life you can never be truly happy or healthy until you reach your optimum weight!

Fat Burning Furnace Review - Read For Full Details About the Fat Burning Furnace

ByCindy Widmark

Let's be honest, how many of us really know what we are doing when we decide to go on a diet to lose weight? The initial decision is an easy one to make but how many know how to go about losing that weight? How many know what foods to eat and how much is enough or too much. How many of us know what nutritious meals to cook? How many of us know what exercise routine is best for us and how much exercise we need. My guess is probably none. This is where The Fat Burning Furnace comes in.

What Is The Fat Burning Furnace Program?

The Fat Burning Furnace is a program that covers both nutrition and exercise so you get the complete know-how on losing weight. The whole program is in a 162 page digital download (e-Book/PDF) so you can view it quickly and easily as often as you need. This program is designed for all ages and for both men and women.

The creator Rob Poulos, battled with obesity for many years himself and used this same technique to lose 40 Lbs and is now teaching others how to lose weight too. The Fat burning Furnace focuses on losing the weight, healthy living and toning up.

Rob argues that a low calorie diet as a weight loss method just slows down your metabolic rate and fuels your cravings for the wrong foods. Instead The Fat Burning Furnace principle lies in eating the right foods at the right times in the right proportions to fuel the body's metabolism and burn the fat away.

The Fat Burning Furnace Diet:

The nutrition part of the program is founded on micro-nutrients. These micro-nutrients when eaten at the right intervals in the right proportion increase our body's metabolism to burn the excess fat. They also provide our bodies with the vitamins and minerals to give it the energy it needs to perform at its peak. Therefore Rob includes meal plans containing these fat burning nutrients without the need to count calories and these foods then turn your body into the fat burning furnace you need to burn excess fat. The foods that Rob recommends to eat are a mixture of fruits/carbs, meat & protein and vegetables.

The Fat Burning Furnace Exercise Program:

Rob also provides an exercise routine that you can do at home so there is no need to join a gym. The exercise routine requires little or no exercise equipment as Rob shows you how to use your own body weight to get great results. But personally I would invest in a pair of dumbbells. In the Fat Burning Furnace Rob lists 29 exercises that are best for losing weight and clearly shows you exactly how to do them.

Each exercise routine is done till the point of failure then you take a 30 second break and start another exercise. The Fat Burning Furnace contains exercises for all ages. Rob covers everything from how long to exercise to how often you need to exercise to get the best results.

The Benefits:

A complete weight loss approach consisting of change in eating habits and regular exercise. You don't need to join a gym.Suitable for all ages.Covers weight loss, healthy living and toning up.No need to buy vitamin supplements.

The Negative:

The exercise video is an extra expense but well worth it.

The Final Word:

If you have read my reviews of other weight loss programs you probably know I advocate a change in lifestyle not a quick fix approach to weight loss. The Fat Burning Furnace is a change in the way you eat and gets you up and exercising regularly. I believe some people have the potential to lose 40Lbs with this program. This is a change in lifestyle, a change for the better.

Old School New Body Review - Can It Really Make You Look And Feel 10 Years Younger?

ByCindy Widmark

What Is The Old School New Body Program?

Created by Steve and Becky Holman, the Old School New Body program addresses the scientific fact when we reach 40 years of age the aging process accelerates markedly if we don't provide our bodies with the right nutrients and proper exercise it needs.

Most other health and weight loss programs out today are targeted to the wide cross section of the general public. Perhaps the creators think of casting a wider net to catch more fish for themselves. Whereas the Old School New Body Program is targeted to a specific age group of 35 and up. This is a package of diet and exercise that slows down the aging process and gets you looking up to 10 years younger.

Steve and Becky advocate 5 rules to best fight the aging process: Forget low fat diets, Stop spinning (any form of endurance training), Stop blaming everything on old age, Avoid chronic dehydration and Work out less. And all this is encompassed in what Steve and Becky call the F4X training system. F4X stands for Focus 4 Exercise. The entire system comprises an exercise and diet program that requires only 90 minutes of your time per week. It is split into 3 phases that depend on your own current fitness level and your chosen fitness goals.

Phase 1 is called the F4X Lean and this is where everybody begins. It introduces to you basic routine of exercise and meal plan and helps you shed excess body fat.

Phase 2 is called the F4X Shape and this phase is optional. It builds on the higher levels of health and fitness you achieved in phase 1 to build muscle and tone up. The exercise and meal plan are modified to help you build muscle and tone up.This phase is for those not content with just losing weight but want to go the next level.

Phase 3 is called the F4X Build and again is optional. In this phase the exercise and meal plan is modified to help you build some serious muscle. You can expect 15-30lbs of muscle.

The Final Word:

We all are aware that health care costs are rising alarmingly. This is a real health and weight loss program for real people with real lives and offering real results. For less than the price of some fake anti-aging lotions and potions this program can get you fit, healthy and looking up to 10 years younger for far less cost.

Customized Fat Loss - Just Another Weight Loss Diet Or Should You Try It?

ByCindy Widmark

What Is The Customized Fat Loss Program?

The customized fat loss program is the creation of Kyle Leon. Kyle also created another program called the Muscle Maximizer which I reviewed earlier this year. I only mention this because if you want to go into battle against weight loss you should be sure you are following a leader who is respected and knows what they're talking about. As the name suggests the customized fat loss program is individually tailored for the needs of different body types. But it goes a little deeper than that, it takes into consideration your age, current weight, metabolism and height. I never thought height was a factor before now.

At its heart is a software program that requires you to input all these factors and then it gives you a nutritional meal plan targeted to your body's needs and aimed at helping you reach your target weight. That's the difference between the customized fat loss program and those over the counter diets you get at the supermarkets and chemists. It's much more sophisticated and customized to who you are. And this personalized nutritional meal plan will change as you lose the weight and bring your metabolism under control. Basically it adapts and changes as your body changes.

Kyle joined forces with leading nutritionists, celebrity fitness gurus and even body builders to create the customized fat loss program. The result was a weight loss program based around the 6 recognised body types:

Endomorphs, (the fat look)- A soft body that accumulates fat rapidly and finds it hard to keep the weight off once it's lost.Mesomorphs, (the muscular look)- Typically depicts a male body due to masculine shoulder, legs and arms but smaller hips. The body mass is evenly distributed throughout the body and these people find it easier to gain muscle.Ectomorphs, (the skinny look)- Typically a slim, narrow body shape and uniform from shoulders to thigh. These people find it hard to put weight on or gain muscle. Hhhhmmm ohhh yeah we know people like that don't we... I hate them... lol.Meso-Endomorph- These people have a combination of both the Endomorphs and the Mesomorphs body traits.Meso-Ectomorph- A combination of Mesomorphs and Ectoomorphs. In this category the Mesomorphs traits predominate.Ecto-Mesomorphs- In this category the Ectomorophs traits predominate.

The customized fat loss program also enables you to formulate your own meal plan based around the foods you like to eat. It provides you with important information about both the pre-set meal plans and your own chosen meal plans to help you make informed decisions about calorie intake, fat content... etc. In effect you keep to the weight loss program while still enjoying the foods you like to eat.

An exercise regime also comes with this program and again it is customized to fit your body type and weight loss goals. Kyle also shows you, through exercises, how to tighten lose skin which develops as you lose the weight.

The Benefits:

Customized weight loss that is individually tailored for your body.Software program that adapts as your body changes and losses weight.A pre-set meal plan or the choice of designing your own based on your favourite foods and still meet your weight loss goals.A customized exercise routine that doesn't require you to go to the gym.60 day money back guarantee.

The Negative:

This weight loss program is in bed with a dietary supplement company and users of this program may be pressured into buying dietary supplements at some stage. A good nutritional meal plan doesn't need additional vitamins. The exercise routine is more geared towards people of intermediate and advanced fitness levels.

The Final Word:

Weight loss is one of the hardest things to go through and just as hard to maintain. The discipline and determination needed is enormous. It isn't made any easier when you try and fail with the plethora of over the counter diets that claim they're used by celebrities around the world and yet fail to work for you. The customized fat loss program seems to be a more individualized attempt at weight loss. It's the thinking man/woman diet bound by science and tailored to people's individual body types. I'm not saying go out there and get your hands on it now! This is just one weapon it the arsenal of those looking to lose weight and get healthy, there are others out there. All I'm saying is that it's worth trying.

Starting a Weight Loss Program

ByBoyce Henry

OK. You have made the commitment to lose some weight. But, where do you start? How do you start a weight loss program, anyway? Do you go buy a bag of carrots and celery and start jogging? You could, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that wants to avoid frustration.

First thing, start looking at what you are eating and try to estimate the calories. Do this every day for several days to get an idea of the types and amount of calories you are consuming. This will help you figure out what kind of changes need to be made. Next, buy some good scales or pull the old ones out of the closet. Keeping up with where you are on a daily basis will be a huge motivating factor once you begin to lose some weight.

What weight loss program should you go with? Most all the good ones will work. The best ones offer meal flexibility, education and varied exercise routines that combine both aerobic conditioning and weight resistance. Do your research and pick the one that best reflects your personality and tolerance level. I say that, because this is not something you should go into with a short term commitment. The changes you make need to stay with you to keep the weight off and live a healthy life.

In the beginning, a 1,400 calorie a day diet will get you some fairly quick results. But, maintaining that over an extended period will become more and more difficult to achieve. Especially when you get down to that last 10 or 15 ponds, it may seem like your making no progress. This is why exercise is key. As you start approaching your goal, up your calories. I'm talking about the good kind of calories here. Don't hit the deep fryer and wade into a bucket of fried chicken. But, while you increase your calories, turn up the exercise a notch or two. This will allow you to eat more, still keep seeing results and plow through that plateau. Increase your exercise enough to burn off the increase in calories and then some.

Now, that wedding or high school reunion or whatever that initially got your weight loss wheels turning has passed. Everybody thought you were stunning. And the people you see every day are used to the new you and the compliments have died down. What will keep you motivated to stay on this healthy lifestyle? That really is a 64,000 dollar question. But, odds are very good that you will feel and look so much better, there is little chance of backsliding if you concentrate on those two things alone.

When , regardless of the trigger mechanism, take notes on what you are eating now and how much and when. Get a good set of scales. Then, research and pick the program that best suits you. Even though you initially may have been motivated by the upcoming annual Barn Dance, make a long term commitment for change. Once you start feeling good, it's easier to hang with the program. Be happy!

With 15 years of researching and managing weight loss, Boyce Henry has some great healthy weight lossadvice for anyone wishing to live a more fruitful life without all the torture of radical change.

Steer Clear of the Weight Loss Myths

There are many forms of advice available regarding weight loss. However, not all of them are correct. One thing that is correct though is that by 2040 more than two-thirds of men over forty will be clinically obese.

This statistic should start alarm bells ringing because with obesity accompanies a number of life threatening conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and stroke,to name but a few.

The problem is that most obese people are stuck in their comfort zone and have the "it won't happen to me" mindset. This frame of mind will see your weight spiral out of control and you could go from not wanting to move to not being able to.

There is only one solution - obtain a proper weight loss program created by a professional and take notice of it. Many people start a new year with the best of intentions but after a month has passed, they have reverted back into their old ways as inertia takes hold. This course of action will only ensure that regular visits to the hospital are not too far away.

Many people see themselves as professionals and in this capacity provide advice on a regular basis. Unfortunately, most of it is wrong. There are many myths surrounding weight loss tips and for those who do not know the difference, the mind can convince the body that they work.

One such myth is the body needs a certain amount of fat and low fat foods have little or no effect on the body. But sugar is the problem not fat. Sugar and salt can raise blood pressure to an alarming level and when this happens a stroke could result.

There are a great number of myths that can cause an overweight person to inflict more harm to their bodies than the excess weight they are carrying. This is why a weight loss plan compiled by an expert is so important. The Anything Goes diet program is such a plan and carries a guarantee for your complete peace of mind.

So take control of your body by responding to the proper weight loss tips and reach your desired weight and size now. It can not be expected to happen overnight but by taking the correct action, after a short while, you will be able to see the difference. As your weight decreases, you will develop the drive and enthusiasm to continue until you finally reach your goal.

To find out more information and how you can reduce your weight without the stress which accompanies many weight loss plans and also has an adverse affect on your health, visit http://www.dietfreely.weebly.com
